Two months ago on his hugely popular Fox News show, The O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly declared that white privilege is a myth. According to O’Reilly, if you are honest and you work hard, you can be successful, no matter if you’re white, black, male, female, etc.

Other than Megyn Kelly, Bill O’Reilly’s views went unchallenged.

That was until last night.

O’Reilly appeared on the The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to promote his new book, Killing Patton. Little focus went into the book (which Jon Stewart admitted he didn’t read).

After O’Reilly sat down, Stewart went right into the white privilege talk, wanting Bill to “admit that there is such a thing as white privilege.”

O’Reilly would not.

And the discussion got quite spirited. O’Reilly made the point that Asian Americans actually have more privilege than even whites. Jon made the point that Asians don’t have the history of discrimination that blacks have.

This is when O’Reilly countered with this:

“Maybe you haven’t figured out that there is no more slavery, no more Jim Crow, and the most powerful man in the world is a black American, and the most powerful woman in the world, Oprah Winfrey, is black!”

When Jon Stewart tried to mention the residue from the past, O’Reilly dismissed it. Honestly, we’re not really doing the discussion justice here. You should watch it above.

Tell us: where do you stand? Do you believe white privilege is a real thing?
