It’s been a crazy ride for Teyana Taylor as of late.
The Harlem native just recently wrapped a long tour, her music video for the song “Maybe” is killin’ it on YouTube, and she’s preparing to release her latest album VII on November 4, but she’s not letting any of that slow her down. Fresh off a few months on the road, Teyana met up with ELLE magazine to give them a tour of her ‘hood and a chance to get to know her on a whole new level.
Taylor took the interviewer and photo crew on a drive around Harlem, stopping at all the most iconic locations for a quick photoshoot to accompany her interview.
“We got ELLE in Harlem!” she said excitedly during the drive.
The 24-year-old made sure to point out well-known areas like Rucker Park and the famous Big L mural. At each location, Teyana slipped into a new chic fall look, all picked out by the magazine’s style team.
If there’s one thing we learned from reading her interview, it’s that Teyana knows how to have a good time, but she’s all business when it’s time to get ish done.
