Ben Bradlee, the well-respected journalist who helped direct the Watergate scandal died of natural causes on Tuesday. Bradlee was known for his journalistic integrity and tireless efforts to publish the Pentagon Papers, a move that changed the world of journalism. The war vet’s story was the inspiration behind the book All The President’s Men which was turned into a film. Bradlee was 93-years-old. [Huff Post

Brooklyn residents believed they were witnessing a prank yesterday as they watched a man on fire run around in the street. The man, who hasn’t been identified was working with chemicals in a hookah shop when the incident happened. A Samaritan who happened to have a fire extinguisher in his truck helped put the flames out until firefighters and paramedics arrived on the scene.   [Huff Post

A group of teenagers from Denver who wished to join islamic terror group ISIS were halted when they were arrested while on their way to Syria. The teens skipped school packed their passports and $2,000 in cash to meet ISIS members they spoke with on the internet. The teens planned to fly from the U.S to Germany and from there to Turkey. FBI officials in Germany were notified of the runways and contained them shortly after arriving in Frankfurt. [CNN

A teen with an enlarged heart was possibly scared to death when she died during a tour in haunted house. Christian Faith Benge, 16 was born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, a condition that left her with one functioning lung. The teen was with a large group of people when she visited the Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park in Ohio. While in the haunted house, the teen’s hear stopped and she collapsed. Medical examiners plan launch an autopsy to find out the cause of death. [Huff Post

Comfort food can get you through any breakup but one woman in China decided to stay at a local KFC for 72 hours. Tan Shen, 26, says she went to the fast food chain to grab a meal but decided to stay to think about the breakup. Hours turned into days as employees noticed Shen spent three days at the restaurant. Once reporters caught wind of her story, she returned home to her parent’s house. [Metro UK]
