It was just a matter of time before Michael Jordan took his legendary status to Twitter.
Stans of the NBA veteran lost their minds earlier today, when the Twitter account for the Charlotte Hornets revealed that he would be taking over their page on Tuesday.
Well, MJ kept his word, as the #MJTakeover has officially begun to help bring in the start of the NBA 2014 season for the team – and he even proved it with his very first selfie. Decked out in some Hornets gear, the team’s owner sported a smile on his face to prove to fans it was indeed Michael himself running the account.
He tweeted:
