Since we didn’t get Tha Carter V this week, Lil Wayne releases “Gotti” featuring The LOX to hold us over. In the wee hours of the morning, Lil Wayne dropped a PSA announcing he’ll unveil part one of Tha Carter V on December 9. Part two of the album (if that even really happens) will drop sometime in the new year.
“I took the Star out of Starvation, Bitch/ I come from a 3rd world start rapping in the 4th grade/Start trapping in the 6th grade, went platinum in the 10th grade, dropped out a nigga was getting paid/ This from Birdman had a Fade/ This when Hummers didn’t come Stretch but Birdman had em’ made,” raps Wayne.
While Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V is coming on December 9, Nicki Minaj’s highly-anticipated The Pinkprint album will now hit stores on December 15.
