It doesn’t exactly have the ring of G.O.O.D. Fridays — the name of Kanye West’s series in which he dropped a new song every Friday leading up to the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy — but it works.
Rapper Lupe Fiasco is continuing his trend of releasing new music on Fridays by dropping the downbeat “Mazinger.” The song, which was produced by S-X, features singer PJ on the hook.
“Mazinger” is interesting because Lupe raps using the Migos flow (really the Quavo flow) throughout.
There’s another treat for Lupe fans out there: The previously unreleased video for “The Instrumental,” off his debut 2006 album Food & Liquor, has been released.
