A tragic accident occurred on a Halloween night.

Three teenage girls were killed by what appears to be a hit-and-run driver in Southern California. The 13-year-olds were seen dressed in costumes and carrying bags full of candy when the incident occurred and two of the girls were said to be twin sisters.

KTLA news reports:

The girls were hit in the 1400 block of Fairhaven Street around 6:45 p.m. Friday, Orange County Fire Authority said. The vehicle involved was found about 800 yards from the crash near a strip mall that included a Del Taco and Big Lots in the 2700 block of North Grand Avenue, around 9:12 p.m.

Witnesses nearby heard squealing tires, looked over and realized what had just happened. We pray for the family of these young girls.
