The 2014 American Music Awards went off without a hitch.
Besides Iggy Azalea beating out Drake and Eminem for the “Favorite Hip-Hop Album Of The Year” award (which was fan voted), there wasn’t any drama at the safest (read: most vanilla) music award show of the bunch.
Nicki Minaj performed her track “Bed Of Lies,” from upcoming album The Pinkprint with Skylar Grey, and she also joined Jessie J and Ariana Grande on stage for an electrifying rendition of their hit “Bang Bang.”
UK singer/songwriter Charli XCX also performed twice, hitting the stage to sing Iggy’s “Fancy,” and her own songs “Break The Rules” and “Boom Clap.”
Lil Wayne and Christina Milian also debuted their new song “Start A Fire.”
