Someone’s always got something negative to say.

Earlier this week, we watched as President Obama prepped for Thanksgiving festivities at the White House. In a nationally televised clip, Obama was accompanied by his two daughters during the White House’s annual turkey pardon and the way Malia and Sasha appeared on television rubbed some people the wrong way, especially GOP staff member Elizabeth Lauten.

As seen in the photo above, Lauten rants about the girls, calling them classless amongst other things. Of course her Facebook post generated many comments, including various people mentioning the alcohol charges brought against President Bush’s daughters during his presidency.

Here is what she said in her rant:

Lauten has since deleted the comments made and shared an apology on Facebook:

I reacted to an article and quickly judged the two young ladies in a way that I would never have wanted to be judged myself as a teenager. After many hours of prayer, talking to my parents and re-reading my words online, I can see more clearly how hurtful my words were. Please know that these judgmental feelings truly have no pace in my heart. Furthermore, I’d like to apologize to all of those who I have hurt and offended with my words, and pledge to learn and grow (and I assure you I have) from this experience.

Leave your thoughts below and check our the original turkey pardon clip up top.
