Jazmine Sullivan makes the best brokenhearted music.
The Philly native released the visual for her second new single “Forever Don’t Last,” which she co-directed with her mother. The four-minute video features Jazmine calling off her wedding as montages flash on the screen of her grandparents’ everlasting marriage.
Jazmine’s real grandparents actually make a cameo in the video. Unfortunately for her, happily ever after is really unhappily ever after.
Jazmine’s forthcoming album, Reality Show, is due out sometime in 2015.
