The cast of the upcoming film Suicide Squad has been announced, and you won’t be disappointed.

According to E! Online, Jared Leto is slated to play The Joker in the adaptation of the popular DC comic book, while Will Smith has landed the part of Deadshot.

Tom Hardy has been named as the role of Rick Flagg, and the beautiful Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn. Even model Cara Delevingne signed on to the all-star ensemble, portraying the Enchantress.

The David Ayer-directed film is slated to be released on August 5, 2016.

Although Lifetime’s Aaliyah biopic left a bad taste in nearly everyone’s mouth, the network has shifted its focus to the release of the Whitney Houston biopic.

The Angela Bassett-directed film will star America’s Next Top Model alumni Yaya DaCosta as Whitney, with singer Deborah Cox on vocals. The biopic is set to premiere on January 17, 2015. Will you be watching?

Professor Stephen Hawking revealed that he would like to play a bond villain. The subject of the acclaimed biopic The Theory Of Everything told Wired magazine:

“My ideal role would be a baddie in James Bond. I think the wheelchair and the computer voice would fit the part.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, he may be battling Christophe Waltz for the antagonist role in the next 007. Only time will tell who becomes the next great Bond villain.

Spike Lee is back in the Director’s seat for his new film Da Sweet Blood Of Jesus.

The thriller is deemed “a new kind of love story.” In the film, Dr. Hess Green (Stephen Tyrone Williams) becomes cursed by a mysterious ancient Afrian artifact and is overwhelmed with a newfound thirst for blood. He however is not a vampire. Soon after his transformation he enters into a dangerous romance with Ganja Hightower (Zaraah Abrahams) that questions the very nature of love, addiction, sex, and status in our seemingly sophisticated society.

Da Sweet Blood Of Jesus is set to hit theaters in 2015. Check out the thrilling trailer.
