In the wake of Ferguson and Staten Island’s grand jury decisions not to indict Mike Brown and Eric Garner’s killers, Alicia Keys releases “We Gotta Pray.”
The piano-riddled protest song was released alongside a visual featuring powerful images of protests across the nation.
“We gotta pray, pray for the world tonight / We gotta save, somebody save somebody tonight,” sings Alicia.
The 33-year-old singer recently celebrated the anniversary of her sophomore album, The Diary Of Alicia Keys. She’s also expecting her second child, which should be arriving any day now.
