Shout out to everyone who was at the Fabolous‘ 90’s party in NYC a few weeks back for Loso’s birthday. It was indeed epic, and a precursor for his upcoming album The Young OG Project. The first single “Lituation” is in the streets, and it rides hard whether you’re in a big body Lac’ on South Beach, or on the B train headed to Brighton Beach. The Young OG Project drops in 2 weeks!

It’s safe to say these days most times a new Nicki Minaj records drops, it’s a movie. Her latest joint “All Things Go” is an introspective look on some of her episodes in a life filled with triumph, trials, and tragedy. Indeed, Nicki gets personal, touching on subjects from a past pregnancy to the sorrow of a murdered cousin. Even though it drops with 2 weeks left in the year, her Pinkprint  album will be one of the biggest of 2014.

The kid K Camp just keeps shitting on the streets one dope record at a time. Check out this new banger “Lil Bit.” It features no one but Camp and his “Louie V” swaggered-out flow. I guarantee you this will be one of the hottest records to look for in these cold ass months to come.

Seems like producer Dree The Drummer has a ‘Whose Who’ of the ‘yung’ G’s in hip hop in his new mixtape Underrated 2. He’s got Wale, The Migos and Lil’ Reese just to name a few.  One of the stand-out tracks from the project, though, is Lil Durk’s new song “He Say She Say,” obviously produced by Dree. Not sure what the plan is for this record but this is a must for my fans of that turn up.

Outside of MMG’s Wale, the DMV area of the Mid-Atlantic has been somewhat quiet on the hip-hop scen. That’s DC, Maryland, Virginia to you laymen. Enter rapper Shy Glizzy. Rolling around DC earlier this week, it was evident to me the streets in the DMV are feeling this kid. Peep his latest “What U Talkin'” record if your not familiar and become a fan.
