Givenchy—it’s for, and represented by, every woman. Erykah Badu. Kendall Jenner. Heck, even North West. (Remember Paris Fashion Week?) But it just got a little prettier thanks in part to Julia Roberts.

With the exception of Nori, all the other names mentioned have been the official face of the fashion house, with Julia being the latest—and unexpected—one for the Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.

Tuesday morning, Riccardo Tisci unveiled the first ads featuring the actress, whom he’s been dressing for red carpet appearances for the past year and a half, telling WWD how she represents the couture part of the luxury label as a powerful woman.

In the photos, lensed by famed fashion duo Mart Alas and Marcus Piggott, Julia appears with very little makeup and casual hair to focus not just on the clothing, but on her features.

“I decided to make her more intellectual, more serious, more pure,” Tisci said. “It’s a different, fresh, new way to see Julia — really cool and urban, I think.”

A surprising choice, but a stunning one nonetheless. Besides, North West, aka the future of fashion, has a whole lifetime ahead of her before she’s up next, and we don’t doubt that one day, she will be.
