Last week, celebrities retreated to the warmer weather in Miami for Art Basel 2014, where they flocked to over 300 galleries and exhibits from around the world. Danny Simmons, though, was a walking work of art while wearing jeans from his latest endeavor, D&J Art Wear.

The renowned artist teamed up with J4UJ Bespoke Jeans to take art from canvas to clothing and create their collaborated line, D&J Art Wear, which officially launched during Art Basel.

There, Danny co-hosted the 5th Annual Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series with media mogul Russell Simmons, and spoke about merging fine arts and fashion:

“We have been working on this Art Wear concept for a while, seeing the details of the making process, it is not easy…much more than just sewing together some fabric,” he said. “These are artists themselves making these Art Wears. Finally after a soft launch this summer at Art For life Benefit with a custom sport jacket, we are releasing our first product to the public this December at Art Basel. The Danny Simmons & J4UJ Art Wear Jeans.”

Back in July, Danny gave us a glimpse at what has been in the works when he wore a one-of-a-kind blazer at the 15th Annual Art for Life fundraiser in the Hamptons.

The D&J Art Wear Art Jeans are now available for purchase here and here.
