A suspect has officially been arrested in connection to the shooting at a Portland, Oregon alternative high school on Friday. It has been confirmed that the shooting injured not three, but four students, impairing one of them critically.

WashingtonPost reports:

Members of the department’s gang enforcement team stopped a vehicle at North Interstate Avenue and Going Street at 1:30 a.m. Saturday and arrested a 22-year-old suspect. A handgun was seized from the vehicle, police said. About half an hour after making the arrest, police searched an apartment five blocks from the shooting scene as part of their investigation.

Detectives from the gang enforcement team are continuing their investigation and plan to release the suspect’s name and charges after he is booked into Multnomah County Jail, police said.

Portland Police have informed the public that two males and one female were injured in the shooting. It was confirmed that the shooting happened outside of the school. The victims were seen running into the school after the shooting. The victims are all conscious and awake at a local hospital.

Police are looking for one shooter who they believe isn’t active.

At least two people were shot at Rosemary Anderson High School in Portland, Oregon Friday afternoon.

The suspect or assumed suspects opened fire around 12:15 p.m. near the school’s North Killingsworth Court. Witnesses claim at least five gunshots were heard. A 17-year-old girl was shot in the back and another in the chest. They were both taken to Legacy Emanuel Health Center.

Sky8 video showed at least two patients being wheeled out on gurneys and being put into ambulances at the small alternative high school, which has less than 200 students.

Portland police were searching for the shooter, and said the suspect or suspects have left the area.

Rosemary Anderson High is a community-based alternative school that educates at-risk teens. One other teen was wounded in the shooting. Police are currently on the hunt for the suspects.

Police alerted reporters that the shooter is no longer active.
