Happy holidays peoples. As 2014 comes to a close, there’s some artists who still  have a few songs to get off their mic. My man King Chip a.k.a. Chip the Ripper, fresh outta Cleveland, just dropped his latest record, “By My Lonely.” It’s an ode to all those who  make things happen, with or without the homies. B.M.L. rides hard in the car. The beat is as infectious as an outbreak of mumps in the NHL. Hopefully this means more great music is on the way from Cleveland’s other ‘king’.

It seems like just the other day Kid Ink was stepping in the game with his much-anticipated freshman release. ‘Transfizzle’ to 2015 and we’re on Kid’s sophomore effort, Full Speed, and it looks to be a proper follow. First up though, he drops this new “Ready For War” single for the streets. Make sure you grab this little nugget after you listen, because this won’t be featured on his new album.

It seems like yesterday I was wondering how DC’s Wale was going fit into Rick Ross’ MMG empire. Wale is as versatile as any rapper worth his weight in bars. His latest heater “Loyalty” will have things turnt up from 0-100 in no time. It’s that type of theme music for anyone trapping and packing. The homie Fat Trel and newcomer Baby Dew make quick 16 bar cameos. This is pure audio ‘sour diseal,’ if you can smell me.

I wonder how many people have rolled up on Dom Kennedy, thinking he was Don Cannon or vice versa. Werrd Up, the two of them could be “brothers from another mother,” both in looks, vibe and music. They are 2 of the coolest dudes reppin’ LA and Philly that you could ever meet. On the music side, both are geniuses ad well. Check out Dom’s new shit, Represent.

Fabolous has been hard at work promoting his Young OG Project. There’s more than a few standout records to be heard that will. But the other day on Sway In The Morning, Fab unleashed his “Will Smith” freestyle. It’s just a little appetizer but it sets up for the meal to come. Go get that Young OG Project. BROOKLYN stand up!
