Metta World Peace has had more name changes than Diddy.
Earlier this week, the ex-NBA star tried out another name…one that was hip-hop inspired.
Nicki Minaj recently made a slick Metta World Peace punchline on “Trini Dem Girls,” off her Pinkprint album. The line Nicki spits is this: “He in love with a ghetto girl, he said he want a piece like Metta World.”
Well, the star was ecstatic about the name drop. So much so, he announced that he would change his name…briefly.
For two days, he went by Metta Minaj.
