Guess Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams couldn’t leave 2014 without taking another effortless mugshot behind bars.
The reality star was arrested in Atlanta on Monday, Dec. 29 for speeding and driving with a suspended license.
Williams was heading to visit her grandfather in the hospital when she was clocked for going 78 mph in a 55 zone. She was booked and later taken to jail, where she posted a $1,726 bond to be released.
“I was headed to visit my grandfather who is very ill with cancer in the hospital, and I was pulled over,” she said in her statement. “I was wrong for speeding absolutely and apologize for putting anyone at risk. I tried to explain the situation to the officer and show him that all my paperwork was in order, but he refused.”
She added: “Handcuffs are not comfortable or a good look for anyone. I was released, [and] I have my license, my car, and my freedom.”
This is Williams’ second arrest this year — she was booked on a battery misdemeanor charge involving an altercation with RHOA co-star Kenya Moore in April.
