There’s a long list of trends we hoped would be left behind in 2014. The biggest one? The lack of diversity in fashion campaigns, on the runway, and especially on magazine covers. The most notable offender was Vogue UK, who hasn’t featured a black model by herself in a whopping 12 years.

Well, just two days into 2015 and it looks like things are finally turning around, with the magazine putting an end to its white streak at long last with Jourdan Dunn as the solo star of the February cover.

The British beauty beams in Prada just a few weeks after joining supermodel forces with Naomi Campbell for a Burberry campaign.

Trend alert for 2015: Black is the new black.
