UPDATE: January 6, 8:30 AM EST

The two officers shot on a Bronx block in New York City have been identified as Officers Andrew Dossi and Aliro Pellarano, according to the NY Post.

Police are currently looking for two suspects. They have released a video (above) of one of the suspects and are offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

At an early morning press conference, NYPD Commissioner William Bratton explained that both officers were done with their shift and were in plainclothes when they decided to respond to a robbery call at a grocery store.

When the officers encountered the two suspects outside a Chinese restaurant in the Bronx, the suspects shot at the officers. The suspects then fled on foot, ultimately carjacking a white Chevrolet Camaro from a man and a woman, which they later ditched where the alleged weapon — a black Ruger Blackhawk revolver — was found. Both officers remain in the hospital in stable condition.

Bratton also said that a man fitting the description of one of the suspects checked into a nearby hospital.

Police say they were notified of a man with a gunshot wound to the back at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in upper Manhattan. It’s not clear if he was one of the gunmen, but investigators are trying to determine if he is connected to the crime.
