As the new spin-off series Better Call Saul premiere is approaching, fans are anxiously waiting to see what’s in store.

While a trailer for the upcoming television show has already been released, the creators of the show spoke about some new details during the Television Critics Association panel.

According to Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, the two creators revealed that Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, characters played by Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, will not be featured in the first season.

Hopefully this means that they will come into the prequel series sometime in the second season!

It looks like another Hollywood star has bitten the dust.

We’re sad to report that Taylor Negron, a longtime comedian you have probably seen in some of your favorite movies, has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

His cousin, Chuck Negron, announced the sad news, and said in a statement:

I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron just passed away. His mother, his brother Alex and my brother Rene and his wife Julie were all there with him. May he rest in peace.”

He will be missed.

Jennifer Hudson is moving on up more and more each year, and she’s starting her 2015 off on the right foot by landing a spot on Broadway!

The “Spotlight” singer is set to make her first Broadway debut in NYC, where she will star in the famous play The Color Purple, according to E! News.

The site reports:

The 33-year-old, who came in seventh place during the third season of the show in 2004, will play Shug Avery in a revival of the musical that is set to premiere this fall and is co-produced by Oprah Winfrey, who starred in a 1985 film adaptation, organizers said in a statement to E! News on Friday.

Congrats on the big move, J Hud!

While there’s probably tons of people who have a crush on Amy Poehler, Joaquin Phoenix made sure he professed it publicly this week.

While stopping by Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Academy Award-winning actor revealed his celebrity crush, and it happened to be the Parks & Recreation comedian.

He revealed in the interview:

“She is hosting the [Golden] Globes,” Phoenix, who is nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy for the kinda-comedy Inherent Vice, nervously told Kimmel. “She is having a party and I am going to go. I’m a little nervous about seeing her. I don’t really know what to say.”

Too bad that amy isn’t single currently, otherwise we would encourage these two to give it a shot!
