It’s been four long years, but R&B singer Jazmine Sullivan is back and she’s here to stay.
When the 27-year-old songstress disappeared from music after releasing her sophomore album Love Me Back in 2010, many fans and critics figured the Philly native couldn’t handle the pressure of fame and superstardom.
The Reality Show singer revealed it wasn’t fame that she couldn’t handle, it was an abusive relationship that caused her to back away from the mic. While Jazmine had fame and money, she was secretly battling with the “love” of her life. Unable to juggle both demanding aspects of her life, Jazmine chose love.
Fast forward four years, Jazmine is out of her abusive relationship and back to the music. Jazmine stopped by GlobalGrind to discuss the making of her third studio album, getting out of a bad situation, depression, and thoughts of drug use.
She also gushed about her relationship with Missy Elliott, being addicted to reality TV, and her love for Willow Smith.
