Many people took to social media to pay tribute to the great Martin Luther King Jr. yesterday, and Solange Knowles was among them.
The always socially conscious newlywed posted a video of her 10-year-old son, Daniel “Julez” Smith Jr., reciting a speech by the Civil Rights leader. In the touching 15-second snippet, Julez flawlessly repeats the words of Dr. King, maintaining his cool composure while stating:
“If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run then walk. If you can’t walk then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep on moving forward.”
The proud mama simply captioned the vid, “In the words of the great MLK.” Watch the video above.
