Lena Dunham might not be able to tell the difference between Lil Wayne and Lil Jon, but that’s OK, because they all look alike anyway.
…Rappers, not black people – because that would be racist.
The GIRLS actress, who was bicking back being bool at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, decided it would be cool to jot down a list of all the celebs she met this year. She did it back in 2007, so why not do it again, right? Here’s her list:
The thing is, Lil Wayne was nowhere near Sundance. Lena wrote:
“Ashamed of how many names I spelled wrong. Also we may have seen Lil Jon and written down Lil Wayne. Fucking unacceptable. I’m retiring (for the night)”
She then checked with her sources (Instagram followers) who confirmed that was indeed Lil Jon Lena saw – not the Young Money rapper. Lena posted a picture of the rapper with dreads in question.
“Lil Jon IS in Utah say sources (aka instagram comments.) And yes, we wrote him onto our list as Wayne. As Jenni says, blame is on the aaaaaltitude#blameitontheaaaltitude #redeye #amiawake?”
So Lena Dunham has no clue who Lil Wayne is without the power of Google. She took to Instagram again to keep us entertained and informed:
“This layover in Atlanta is a great time to tell you Jenni & I know the difference between Lil Wayne & Lil Jon. Wayne could lick me like a lollipop and is beloved by Nicki. I met Jon when he generously created a Rock The Vote video and he was a delight. When we got of the plane in Park City Jenni said “I saw Lil–” and I shrieked “WAYNE!?” and added him to our celeb list. End of story. PS This is Wayne’s (ex?) girl Dhea who will be my blizzard fashion inspiration. PPS I can always trust my gang of Internet friends to go hard and that’s why I 😍 you and you make me crazy”
Now that Lena has been schooled on her “Lil” rapper knowledge, she’s probably going to be quizzed by Black Twitter for the rest of the morning.
