A 3-year-old Albuquerque toddler who was looking for an iPad in his mother’s purse pulled out a handgun and fired one shot, striking his father in the back. Cleveland Brown’s Johnny Manziel entered a treatment center Monday, according to a spokesperson for the quarterback. “Johnny knows there are areas in which he needs to improve in order to be a better family member, friend and teammate, and he thought the offseason was the right time to take this step,” advisor Brad Beckworth said. “On behalf of Johnny and his family, we’re asking for privacy until he rejoins the team in Cleveland.” Reason for entering the rehabilitation center has not been confirmed, but a source close to Manziel said the quarterback “voluntarily entered treatment as a direct result of his lifestyle away from the field.” The star football player is expected to be in rehab a few weeks.
