One of the co-founders of the record label Fool’s Gold, Dust La Rock, has passed away from an unknown cause.

The news of the industry creative’s death, whose real name was Joshua Prince, was shared by his good industry friend A-Trak, who shared a message with his followers on both Twitter and Instagram.

He wrote on his social media:

Lost one of my dearest friends today. RIP Joshua Prince aka Dust La Rock, original Fool’s Gold co-founder… Art director for myself, Fool’s Gold and Duck Sauce. You helped define so much of what I stand for. Love you man. Still can’t believe this.

Dust worked on many album covers we know and love today, including Action Bronson’s Blue Chips, and Danny Brown’s XXX. He was also the creative director and chief designer for Fool’s Gold from 2007-2012.

We will keep his loved ones in our prayers during this tragic time.
