Yesterday was the first day of Black History Month, and a South Carolina high school unfortunately had to deal with racist vandalism on its property.
According to RawStory.com, South Pointe High School was defaced as a large rock was spray painted, leaving graffiti that read, “Happy N*gger Month” on it. The vandalized rock was also signed ‘KKK,’ as seen in pictures posted on social media, which authorities confirmed was all done on Sunday, February 1st.

A source told the site:
“It was discovered yesterday morning, and since then, it’s been eradicated,” a school staffer told Raw Story. “People are still calling because it was posted. Whoever did it, took a picture.”
The site also reports that there are no details as to whether the incident was reported, or if there was a suspect that police were aware of.
