Forget “Morphin’ Time.” A former Red Power Ranger may be looking at jail time, if his arrest for allegedly stabbing his roommate is any indication.

You can calm down. It’s not THE Red Ranger, aka Jason Lee Scott, although this dude, 36-year-old Ricardo Medina Jr., is just as handsome. Which, at this point doesn’t matter because he turned television into reality when he allegedly used a sword to kill his roommate, Joshua Sutter, on Saturday in their Santa Clarita, Ca. home.

And now, your grandma’s warning that “violent” shows like The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers are bad for children is probably haunting you at this moment.

“He’s been my friend and client for 12 years and he’s a great guy,” Medina’s agent, Gar Lester, told the Los Angeles Times, saying that the allegations are difficult for him to believe. “He’s great to his dog,” he said, “he’s great to his people. He’s really a super person.”

On Saturday afternoon, police believe the two men got into a fight. Medina reportedly went to his bedroom with his girlfriend and locked the door. Sutter reportedly followed him and forced open the door. That’s when, police said, Medina pulled a sword he kept in the bedroom and allegedly stabbed his roommate in the stomach.

Medina then called 911 and waited at the home.

Medina’s bail was set at $1 million, according to the Washington Post. The actor, who played the Red Ranger in 2002’s Power Rangers Wild Force, is set to appear in court Tuesday.
