The man who nearly broke the internet last summer when his mugshot was released to the world will spend two years behind bars for firearm possession – despite his good looks.

Jeremy Meeks of Stockton, Calif. was convicted of one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm this week, according to U.S. Attorney Benjamin Wagner’s office. He is also ordered to participate in the 500-Hour Bureau of Prisons Substance Abuse Treatment Program.

According to CBS, Meeks was also ordered to pay a $100 fine, but was found to “not have the ability to do so.”

So much for that proposed modeling contract. Looks like neither the 101,944 likes, 12,836 shares, and 26,695 comments on that mugshot photo, nor those dreamy blue eyes, work as a get out of jail free card.
