The twists and turns continue in the Suge Knight case.
After pleading not guilty to murder, attempted murder, and hit-and-run charges following a hospital stint, we may be getting to the bottom of what caused all the strife in the first place–the NWA biopic, Straight Outta Compton.
According to TMZ:
Dr. Dre never asked Suge Knight for permission to include his likeness in the movie “Straight Outta Compton” … and that sparked the fight which ended with the alleged murder in a parking lot. Sources connected to Suge tell TMZ … he got word he was included in the film, and wanted to talk to Dre about how he was being portrayed. As we’ve reported … Suge’s friend Terry Carter helped set up the meeting.
But apparently the meeting never took place, because things escalated to such a degree that the former Death Row Records CEO ran over Terry. TMZ continues:
As for what Suge was so worried about — a new trailer for the movie was just released, and there is a character whupping someone’s ass in a studio … who looks just like Suge. TMZ broke the story … Suge and Dre’s sit-down never happened because Suge got into a fight with actor Cle “Bone” Sloan … and eventually backed up over him and Carter.

The hip-hop mogul, who was recently impersonated by Samuel L. Jackson in new film The Kingsmen, took the punches like a pro.
In a post on his Instagram page, Uncle Rush acknowledged the fact that Samuel nailed his impersonation, from his signature gear–a button down, sweater, blazer, chain, and baseball cap–all the way to the mogul’s famous lisp. Though he acknowledged that he has always been a comedic target because of that lisp, he ended the post with a simple promo and thumbs up for the movie.

After joining forces and creating their own production company, the two businessmen have finally released the trailer for Loisaidas, their first movie together.
With Yeezus serving as executive producer and Dame serving as director, the film chronicle the trials and tribulations of inner city life. The pre-order, which is available now, shut down at one point due to so many people flocking to the site, prompting the former Roc-A-Fella Records CEO to post this message on his Instagram:

Another big merger is among us; this time it’s Sony Pictures partnering up with Marvel Studios.
The two conglomerates are coming together and revamping our beloved Spiderman. According to The Hollywood Reporter:
As part of the revamp, the new Spider-Man will first appear in a Marvel film. The companies are not revealing details but that movie is likely to be Captain America: Civil War; the character was a major player in the comics story line. Andrew Garfield is not expected to reprise the character.
Once the character is re-launched, Sony will then release a new Spider-Man movie on July 28, 2017. Marvel’s Kevin Feige will join Amy Pascal as a producer on the new movie. The duo will “collaborate on a new creative direction for the web slinger,” according to the companies. Ari Arad and Matt Tolmach, who were producers on the previous movie, will now executive produce.
Though the Spiderman franchise will cross over to Marvel, Sony will still “retain the final creative control and continue to finance, distribute, and own the new movies.”
