Eddie Murphy has more humanity than the rest of us. After years of making Bill Cosby the butt of his jokes, the Beverly Hill Cops star returned to Saturday Night Live and took a stand. Norm MacDonald shared stories from SNL40 on Twitter and said Eddie was going to play Bill Cosby, but he pulled out last minute.

Amber Rose is currently writing a book called “How To Be A Bad Bitch” which is scheduled to be released October 27 this year. In the book she will talk about success, love, beauty, money, and more.

In a statement, Rose says a “bad bitch” is a “self-respecting, strong female who has everything together. This consists of body, mind, finances and swagger; a woman who gets her by any means necessary.”

Tyler, The Creator is tackling a new venture. The Odd Future front man was at the Code/Media Conference and told attendees, “I’m creating my own MTV or my own Cartoon Network.” The 23-year-old rapper struck a deal to create his own over-the-top network in partnership with former ABC and Yahoo executive Lloyd Braun’s new company, Whalerock. Columbus Short has recently joined the TV One family. In his first major TV role since exiting Scandal, Short is now apart of Fear Files, the second installment of TV One’s original horror film franchise.

TV One decided to pick up three new films, including For the Love of Lockwood Too, a sequel to For the Love of Lockwood, as well as Fire, and Mama’s Boy, which stars Robin Givens.

Lastly, Will Smith just landed another movie. Paramount Pictures recently snagged Scasha Penn’s script for a movie called Bounty.

Set in Boston, the story revolves around a man (Smith) who is wrongly convicted of murder. He escapes from prison and is determined to prove his innocence — a nearly impossible task after the widow of the man he supposedly killed puts a $10 million bounty on him, dead or alive.

Will’s next film Focus has been receiving rave reviews and is set to his theater Feb. 27.
