If you do nothing else this spring: tap into your creative side.

These days, art is no longer seen as the mundane collecting hobby of our parents and grandparents. With co-signs from the likes of Jay Z and Kanye West, art has begun a love affair with the young as well. So as the sun starts to shine, get out of the house and hit up an art exhibition or two.

If you’re already an art enthusiast, we’ve put together a list of some dope exhibitions that you won’t want to miss. And if you’re new to this, these picks will be sure to get your creative juices flowing.

“Basquiat: The Unknown Notebooks” The Brooklyn Museum, New York, NY

Have you ever wondered what the personal notebook of Basquiat would look like? If you have, this exhibition gives you a glimpse starting on April 3. And if you haven’t, I bet you want to now. The exhibition features 160 rarely seen documents including sketches, poetry, and his personal observations.
