In the midst of all the racial tension happening in the world today, Waka Flocka Flame is the latest star to take a stand against prejudice.

After a video surfaced online of the University of Oklahoma’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house on a party bus chanting racial slurs, people everywhere were outrage by the frat’s behavior.

Waka Flocka was slated to perform an upcoming show at the university, but declined after the video was released. He opened up on CNN with Brianna Keller to discuss his thoughts on the controversial video.

“I was more hurt, and more like, disgusted. Because I knew those kids, I performed for those kids!” he said.

On Tuesday, two students were expelled for their part in the racially charged video. To hear more from Waka, watch the clip above.
