A man was shot three times after attacking a TSA agent in a New Orleans airport. Wielding a machete, the male – whose name is reportedly Richard White – attacked the agent around 7:45 p.m. last night at the Louis Armstrong International Airport.
According to Jeffferson Parrish Sheriff, Newell Normand, the man was shot three times by law enforcement and an ambulance arrived ten minutes later. No motive for the attack has been determined.
Travelers took to social media to share news of the chaotic scene.
People had heard gunshots. Everyone was hiding behind chairs and in doorways. Made our way to exit. Body was lying in a pool of blood.
