Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should know that Beyonce’s family tree has expanded substantially since her mother Mama Tina said “I do” to actor Richard Lawson over the weekend.
Although Beyonce’s the most famous person in her family, don’t get it twisted, her new stepsister Bianca Lawson is famous too.
Where do we start?
Bianca is the daughter of Denise Gordy and Richard Lawson, both prominent people in the entertainment industry. Her mother Denise Gordy is the niece of Motown founder/music mogul Barry Gordy, and Bianca’s father is an actor whose credits include the Poltergeist, All My Children, Shaft, Touched By An Angel, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and the list goes on and on.
Interestingly enough, Bianca has a sort of famous half-brother, Marvin Gaye III. It’s a complicated “made for TV” story, but the end result is Marvin Gaye adopted her brother when married to Anne Gordy (sister of Barry Gordy) because Bianca’s mother Denise was barely 17-years-old when she gave birth to him.
Anywho, back to Bianca.
The 36-year-old actress has starred on Saved By The Bell: The New Class, Pretty Little Liars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, T The Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, and Witches of East End.
Oh, and most importantly, she played Julia Stiles’ arch-nemesis in the teen classic Save The Last Dance.
