Surveillance footage from inside a Philadelphia subway station shows a good samaritan rescuing a man after he lost his balance on the subway platform and fell onto the tracks.

CBS News reports:

SEPTA says it happened at about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday at the 15th Street Station of the Market-Frankford Line.

According to SEPTA officials, a man was walking close to the edge of the platform when he fell onto the tracks. Officials say another man walking on the platform immediately jumped down onto the tracks and rescued the man who fell.

Officials say it’s unclear why the man fell onto the tracks. Fortunately, both men are okay and were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
