The Makeup Show came to New York City this past week and dominated.

The largest pro-driven beauty event in the world celebrated its 10th anniversary by bringing top-of-the-line beauty professionals together to showcase their art through makeup.

With around 7,000 attendees, 85 beauty brands and 50 guest speakers, The Makeup Show offers quality products and hands-on workshops. Professionals, including retailers, buyers, artists and bloggers, filled Metropolitan Pavilion to build relationships, and of course scope out new makeup.

If you’re in the field, or you’re just a die-hard beauty fanatic, than you know makeup is constantly evolving. You have your recognizable brands such as NARS, Makeup Forever, and MAC. But what about brands that may be difficult to find in the states like BlackUp? That’s one of the beauties, (no pun intended), of The Makeup Show. It offers buyers a wide-range of familiar brands, while introducing new ones.

Makeup artists can be seen creating a work of art on their models and shedding out application tips to clients. Inquiring minds are urged to ask questions and try out products. It’s a fun environment with creativity flowing out of every where. The Makeup Show is the only beauty show you don’t want to miss.
