Lamar Odom has landed back in the news this month after the death of his best friend Jamie Sangouthai, who allegedly passed away as a result of drug abuse.
Less than a week after Jamie’s death, Odom has been hit with the death of another close friend, Bobby Heyward. According to Us Weekly, Heyward, a producer and writer, died from a drug overdose at age 30 on Saturday, June 20.
The L.A. County Coroners office confirmed that Heyward passed away, but did not confirm an official cause of death. Adding more salt to the wound, Heyward’s last Instagram post was dedicated to Jamie, which you can see above.
Reports reveal that Heyward was also close with Odom’s ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, who reached out to a depressed Lamar in the wake of Jamie’s death.
