After a whirlwind of controversy last month, Teen Vogue is hoping to get back in its readers’ good graces.

Earlier this week, the magazine tweeted out a photo of their August cover featuring 20-year-old Aya Jones, 18-year-old Imaan Hammam, and 19-year-old Lineisy Montero as “Fashion’s New Faces.” Looking stunningly gorgeous, the three models serve major face, and most of all, it’s refreshing to see Black models celebrated in such a way.

But for many, this is simply an attempt to make up for the anger caused in June, when the mag published an article featuring a White woman modeling Senegalese twists.

Regardless, any support for diversity in fashion is always a positive. What are your thoughts on the cover?
