After providing details about how things ended with Ciara in part one of his Like I Never Left documentary, Future mocked the “I Bet” singer and her new man, Russell Wilson, in an interview with HuffPost Live.
If you thought he was done, he isn’t – Future continued to come for CiCi and Russell on Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club” this morning.
The 31-year-old Atlanta native talked all about feeding his fans hit after hit, the inspiration behind “Trap N*ggas,” whether or not Sprite had a problem with the naming of his Dirty Sprite series, his upcoming energy drink, not taking any advice on his new music, and more.
Future had a lot of interesting things to say. For one, he claims he’s only telling his side of the story where Ciara is concerned, because she never defended him when the media accused him of being a cheater. He also gets very serious when his son is brought into the conversation, ultimately warning his ex about including Baby Future in publicity stunts.
This is how Future feels about Russell Wilson pushing his son’s stroller:
“Of course, I wouldn’t want somebody pushing my son, like, that’s the number one rule. If I was a kid and my mama had a dude pushing me, I would’ve jumped out the stroller and slapped the shit out of her. You never do that in our community. You don’t even bring a man around your son…
I’m not for the publicity stunts… leave my son out of all the publicity stunts. Just leave him out of your relationship because we don’t need your relationship for anything. I can take care of him on my own, without any help. I don’t need no help taking care of my son.”
Even with the baby mama drama, Future maintains that he just wants Ciara to be happy and even goes as far as to say, ““I’m not thinking about her, man.” Watch the full interview above – he also talks about settling his beef with Drake, the Ciara “curse,” and more.
