Harlem rapper Dave East links up with his boss/mentor Nas on new single “Forbes List.”

Earlier this week, Dave hosted a private listening session for his forthcoming projectHate Me Now. The 20-track tape is hosted by DJ Drama and features guest appearances by Nas, Jadakiss, Mack Wilds, Pusha T, Rico Love, and Styles P.

In a packed studio, Dave explained the difference between his debut project Black Rose and Hate Me Now.

“Black Rose was really personal to me, it made people pay attention – but it was a certain moment in my life. Hate Me Now is a celebration for what’s to come, a celebration for where I aspire to go with my career, and the things I’ve gone through to get here. It’s definitely a transitional piece in my journey. Hate Me Now while you can.”

Hate Me Now is set to hit iTunes on October 2. Take a listen to “Forbes List” below.
