The marketing phenom that is Drake recently released his “Hotline Bling” video and the Internet erupted with countless gifs and memes of the 6 God having too good a time. He rocked many memorable outfits in the vid, including an oversized turtleneck, sweatpants, and Timbs. But the only brand name people could make out outside of the Jordan tee was the red Moncler jacket he was wearing during the first scene. As Drake dabbed, the Moncler emblem was as clear as day for millions to see. And according to Domenico Galluccio, a Moncler spokesman, the red jacket – dubbed the “Maya” – sold twice as much as it normally would on a typical day. The French-Italian apparel brand is known for its luxury bubble coats, and the one in question goes for a modest $1,150. Read more.

While the release of the Supreme Jordan 5 created mayhem in Japan, London, and across the Internet, the apparel collection should do just as much damage.
