As the Chicago rap scene continues to flourish, Lil Bibby puts his stamp on the Windy City with a new track featuring Future, titled “Aww Man.”
Grabbing Future for a hook is one of the smartest things a rapper can do right now, but Bibby also manages to hold his own with the trap-influenced beat. If the beat sounds like a DS2 leftover or a What A Time To Be Alive bonus track, that’s because it was mastered by Future’s right-hand, Metro Boomin’, who always wants some more.
The hard-hitting song premiered on Chicago’s Power 92.3 and the CDQ version will be available on iTunes on Friday. “Aww Man” supports Bibby’s Free Crack 3 album, which is set to drop November 27. It’s safe to say any rap fan now knows what they’ll be playing during Thanksgiving weekend.
