That glow is something serious.

When the above picture surfaced on social media during last night’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, we instantly fell in love. Unfortunately, such shots are rather rare at the annual event, as it’s no secret that women of color are usually not adequately represented.

In fact, only nine of the 44 models who graced the runway last night were Black. One look at these ladies is all it takes to realize that’s just not enough.

Let’s pay homage to a few of the beauties who brought #BlackGirlMagic to the VS Fashion Show, which airs December 8th on CBS.

Maria Borges

The Angolan model and high-fashion star walked the Victoria’s Secret runway for the third time, but it was the first in which she chose to rock her natural tresses. She shared her excitement with Essence, saying: “I told my agent I wanted to walk in the Victoria’s Secret show with my natural hair,” says Borges. “I was nervous, but I had to do it. When they said ‘yes’ I didn’t expect it, but I was so happy!”

Leomie Anderson

Following her walk down the runway, Leomie spoke out on the unfair treatment of Black models in fashion: “I definitely feel that there has been a lot of improvement in the industry with [the] use of black models, but I would definitely say that it has a long way to go especially with regards to shade. Being a light-skinned model, I feel like they definitely get more work than darker skinned models.”

Jasmine Tookes

Since becoming a VS Angel earlier this year, this 24-year-old had been counting down the days until last night’s show. As one of the new faces on the runway, Jasmine’s stunning beauty absolutely killed it. Oh, and she might just make the perfect Lara Croft.

Leila Nda

According to her Instagram, Leila Nda is far from just a pretty face. The Angolan model is also a law student, and she’s bound to take the fashion world by storm. Not to mention, her body is bangin’.
