Well, after many years as a sex symbol, David Beckham has finally scored the title.
The British heartthrob has been crowned PEOPLE magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive, and it’s about damn time. But when you’re David Beckham, it’s probably NBD. He tells PEOPLE: “I never feel that I’m an attractive, sexy person. I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don’t ever think of myself that way.”
Seriously? But how did his lucky wife, Victoria Beckham react to the news? “I would hope that she feels this way about me all the time anyway!” he says with a shy smile. “But she said, ‘Congratulations!’ “
And in addition to the sexiest man, David reminds us that he may just be the coolest dad alive: “We kind of laughed about it with the boys and the boys kind of laughed at me and said, ‘Really?! Sexiest man alive? Really?’ “
