People have been wondering what the iPhone 7 will look like ever since the iPhone 6 was released. And while we still haven’t a clue of the design, we know Apple is hard at work.

The tech giant is said to be testing as many as five different designs for next year’s release. None of the designs are said to resemble each other – all have unique and distinct differences. One of the changes said to be in the works is the removal of the Lightning port, which is odd because reports earlier this week claimed Apple may make the port headphone compatible. If it’s removed, it would be replaced by USB Type-C port, a move that Android has made with their most recent flagship phone, the Nexus 6P. Other versions include features like wireless charging and improved multi-touch 3D Touch capabilities.

In other iPhone news, Mashable says that Apple will introduce a new 4-inch screen. The Cali-based company currently sells the 4-inch iPhone 5S, but that’s over two years old. Ming-Chi Kuo, a security analyst who has a very solid track record of leaking accurate Apple info, revealed this information in a research note sent to MacRumors.

With the iPhone 5C being discontinued, the market is missing an affordable iPhone. This could be it.
