It hasn’t been the greatest year for Drake Bell as far as being in the public eye, and he’s ending it on another negative note.
The former Nickelodeon star, who you may remember from Drake & Josh, or even his comments about Justin Bieber that made him trend negatively on Twitter, was reportedly arrested on Monday on suspicion of a DUI.
According to the LA Times, the actor-turned-musician was driving around 2:20 AM in Glendale, when authorities noticed him “swerving and speeding after abruptly stopping at a red light.”
A spokeswoman for the Glendale Police Department said that a strong odor of alcohol was coming from Bell’s car, and that he failed a field sobriety test on the scene.
He was then taken into custody, while his mugshot appears to have been released to the public.
