President Obama was already blessed with a pair of Yeezy Boost 350s, so getting hooked up with the most iconic adidas silhouette of all time was inevitable.

Yesterday would’ve been Jam Master Jay’s 51st birthday, and to celebrate his legacy, adidas designed a gold-accented Superstar. The sneaker was a huge part of Run-D.M.C.‘s rise to prominence in the mid ’80s with their hit song “My adidas.”

RevoltTV took to Twitter to show the world who would get a chance at this latest coveted three stripes release. Of course, President Obama got a pair, and hopefully he’ll have a chance to rock all the heat he’s received during his presidency once his historical eight-year term comes to an end. Celebrities are also getting the special edition sneakers, including Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and newly minted adidas signee James Harden.

These will probably never see a general release, but adidas recognizing the rap group that catapulted its U.S. dominance is still dope.
