This basically looks like the most fun show in fashion.
For its Fashion Week presentation, VFiles put out a casting call for emerging designers to apply in order to score a chance to showcase their collections at NYFW. Fall/Winter 2016’s competition focused on wearable tech, and four brands came together to present their gear.
New York City-based designers Neurocouture and Kim Shui, along with Anton Belinskiy, Ottolinger, and Hardeman of Amsterdam were selected from a pool of 1,000 entries. VFiles also showcased their own wearable tech collection – VFILES XO – as well as their Sport Plus line, in addition to providing a platform for emerging designers.
And what a platform it was, as last night’s VFiles presentation was a star-studded event. Sitting front row along with Justine Skye, Kylie Jenner supported her boyfriend Tyga as he hit the stage for a surprise performance.
Also spotted were La La Anthony, her son Kiyan, and downtown’s sweetheart, Vashtie.
